No Playgroup Wednesday or Friday

We will not be holding playgroup on Wednesday due to our spectacular Halloween party in the evening.  If you haven't decided if you are coming - we have so many fun things planned - you don't want to miss it.  The party will take place in our very spacious party room and we have crafts, games, activities and lots of yummy things to eat!  

Friday is a national holiday and we will not be holding playgroup.

See you Wednesday evening at the party!

Volunteers Needed!

Getting excited for our costume party? We have activities and crafts for toddlers, face painting, balloon sculptures, trick or treating and even some games provided by Gymboree. I mean...it's kind of a big deal! Don't miss it! 

Because this is a Ladybirds fundraiser - we are looking for volunteers to help!

This is what we need:
People to come early and set up
People to stay late and clean up
People to help kids at the craft tables

If you can't do it, could you volunteer dad (or the nanny?) while you stay with your child?

If you can't do any of the above - please bring something yummy to eat: cakes, cookies, pizzette, tramezzini....

Halloween Masks

We created these festive masks at Ladybirds today, using coloured glitter. If you missed out, don't worry, we will be making these again on Friday, the 25th and Monday, the 28th!

Autumn at Ladybirds

Today we celebrated October birthdays and decorated autumn leaves for our upcoming costume party. We will be decorating more leaves on Friday the 18th and Monday the 21st!

Lollipop Hunt - Change of Date!

Unfortunately we must move our Lollipop Hunt to the next day on Sunday morning, October 20th.  The Black Bloc protests are scheduled for Saturday when protesters from all over Europe will be coming to Rome to shut down many areas in the city center, making it very difficult and at times dangerous to move about Rome.  We are so sorry to change the date - but the good news is that Sunday is supposed to be clear skies and sun!  We hope you can make it!

The best part was having a huge bowl of colorful tissue paper to tear up and destroy!  Escape the rain on Friday the 11th and Monday the 14th and have some fun with us!

Saturday Playgroup!

It is time for our Autumn Lollipop Hunt in Villa Borghese! This is a great time to participate in a playgroup if you are unable to join us during the week.  

SATURDAY OCTOBER 19th from 10 - NOON

Pincio at Villa Borghese 

(behind the obelisk - parking is available on Saturday)  

This is an excellent opportunity for those who cannot join us during the week to participate in one of our playgroups.  After we do our usual circle time, our LOLLIPOP FAIRY will hide over 300 felt lollipops and each child will be given a bag to collect them.

Please bring a small snack or a bottle of juice/water to share.  

The cost of the Lollipop Hunt is the same as our normal playgroups - 5 euro for each child. We want to reserve the actual Lollipop Hunt for those children under 4 years old, however children over 4 can help hide the lollipops for the younger children.

This Week - More Fun!

We are using cupcake liners to make pretty flowers this week!  Just glue and stick the precut shapes.  We will be making them again on Friday the 4th and Monday the 7th. See you there!
